A Dutch “potato peeler”… Recufood was founded at the beginning of the last century in the Netherlands as a company that went out with a horse and cart to collect potato peelings and similar food waste from farms and households.
In the 1980s, Recufood moved to Belgium and became a pioneer in organic recycling with its innovative technology and extensive, specially adapted transport fleet. Since then, Recufood has become a completely independent Belgian family business.
